1st Birthday

It's hard to believe, but our little McKenna is now a whole year old. To celebrate we had some friends and family over for a barbecue. Here's a few pictures we took. I especially like the one of Noah eating McKenna's cake. He climbed up on the chair, grabbed a fork and dug in. McKenna didn't like it too much so at least it didn't go to waste!

It's All Uphill From Here

Well folks, she's at it again - this time managing to sneak into the fridge for the split second it was left open.

If you look closely you can see a small piece of tortilla poking out of her mouth.

Allison didn't mind sharing McKenna's findings.

The two extra tortillas that they only nibbled on, thus wasting perfectly good food.

The kicker here is that Allison is the one that actually opened the fridge. Usually when McKenna starts getting into things Allison will yell, first at McKenna and then for me to come help.

But not this time. This time she kept quiet and just waited for me to come find the mess. I think she secretly wanted to have a snack and she just let her little sister do the dirty work. We're in for a lot of trouble in the future with these two.
